Shochiku Co., Ltd. (“we” or “our company”) recognizes the importance of protecting personal information. Accordingly, we have established the following Privacy Policy (this “Policy”) regarding the handling of user information, including personal information received from customers, in our live streaming service “Kabuki On Demand” (the “Service”).

1. Information We Acquire from Customers

Through your use of the Service, we may acquire the following types of user information:
- Information related to your profile, such as name, date of birth, and gender;
- Contact information, such as email address, phone number, and physical address;
- Login information for the Service, such as account ID and password;
- Information related to payments for the Service, including usage fees, payment status, and payment dates;
- Payment information related to the Service, such as the last four digits of your credit card number;
- Information related to behavioral data transmitted to us through your use of this Service, such as viewing history of live and archived streams, content viewing history, and video playback and pause actions;
- Information related to your access to and usage of this Service, such as IP address and access logs; and
- Any other information you provide to us through input forms or other methods specified by us.

2. Purpose of Use

The specific purposes for which we use the user information acquired from you are as follows. If we use your information for any other purpose, we will clearly indicate to you the purpose of use each time:
- To accept your user registration, verifying your identity, and billing and processing payments for the Service, and to otherwise provide and operate the Service;
- To operate and maintain the network, applications, systems, and other infrastructure of the Service;
- To improve and enhance the quality of the Service and to plan and develop new services related to the Service;
- To inform you about the Service, including various campaigns and other promotional activities and events for the Service;
- To respond to your opinions, requests, inquiries, and other communications regarding the Service;
- To analyze responses to surveys and other feedback and reflect them in the Service;
- To address violations of our terms, policies, and other rules related to the Service (the “Terms”); and
- To notify you of changes to the Terms or other matters related to the Service.

3. Provision to Third Parties

We will not provide or disclose personal information in our possession to any third party (including those located outside Japan) without obtaining your prior consent, except where permitted by law or in accordance with procedures prescribed by law.

4. Joint Use

We will jointly use the user information obtained from you as follows:
- Items of user information to be jointly used:
  Name, email address, and phone number
- Scope of joint users:
  PLAY Inc. (Head Office: Shibuya Solasta 15F, 1-21-1 Dogenzaka, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo)
- Purpose of use of joint user:
  To respond to opinions, requests, inquiries, and other communications from customers regarding the Service
- Party responsible for managing the user information:
  Shochiku Co., Ltd.

5. Ensuring Accuracy and Security of Personal Information

We implement security measures for personal information to ensure their accuracy and safety. We also take necessary and appropriate measures to prevent and correct unauthorized access to and loss, destruction, falsification, or leakage of personal information.

6. Outsourcing of Operations

We may outsource all or part of the handling of personal information to the extent necessary to achieve the purposes described in Section 2. In such cases, we will select contractors who are determined to handle personal information appropriately, and we will properly define matters related to the handling of personal information in the outsourcing agreement, including security measures, confidentiality obligations, and the return of personal information upon termination of the contract. We will also manage and supervise the contractors as necessary and appropriate.

7. Disclosure of Personal Information

When we receive a request for disclosure of personal information in accordance with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (Japan), we will confirm that the requester is the individual concerned and, unless there are special circumstances, disclose the information within a reasonable scope and timeframe (if the requested personal information does not exist, we will notify you accordingly). However, if we are not obligated to disclose the information under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (Japan) or other applicable laws, this does not apply. Please note that a handling fee of 1,000 yen per request will be charged for the disclosure of personal information.

8. Correction and Suspension of Use of Personal Information

If we receive a request for the correction or suspension of use of personal information in accordance with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (Japan), we will confirm that the requester is the individual concerned and, unless there are special circumstances, conduct the necessary investigation without delay. Based on the results, we will correct or suspend the use of the personal information and notify you accordingly (if we decide not to correct or suspend use, we will also notify you of that decision). However, if we are not obligated to make such disclosure under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (Japan) or other applicable laws, this does not apply.

9. Compliance with Laws and Regulations

In handling personal information, we will comply with applicable laws, guidelines, and other relevant regulations applicable to the protection of personal information.

10. Changes to the Privacy Policy

We will review this Policy as appropriate and strive for continuous improvement and may revise the content of this Policy as necessary. In the event of any changes to this Policy, we will make known the effective date and the revised content by posting it on our website or through other appropriate means or by notifying you thereof.
